Providing Training and Management Services for over 35 years.

Cotton's Business Services has been in operation since 1980 providing a wide range of management support for both the Freight Forwarding industry and the general business world.

For the past 20 years Cotton's Business Services has provided software installation, implementation, training and support for the Freight Forwarding Industry in Australia, New Zealand, Asia/Oceania and the USA. These services have covered not only installation/implementation but have specifically covered the Accounting, Freight Forwarding, and Customs modules for WiseTech Global software, from Deliverance through ediEnterprise to CargoWise One.

We have also serviced industries outside the Freight Forwarding and currently service several clients in non-freight related industries.

In each case the client's individual needs are identified so as to provide training and implementation designed to reflect specific requirements.

The principal is a CPA of many years experience and we are able to cover all levels of Accounting training and support.

We are based in Sydney, Australia - but service clients in other locations within Australia both remotely and, where required, travel to clients' premises. We also remotely service clients outside Australia.

Services Provided


We provide advice and assistance in creating a working platform for industry specific computer systems.

This would include, but not be limited to, Charts of Account, Linked Control Accounts, Bank Accounts, GST/VAT settings and Charge Codes.

Implementing systems

After the initial setting up has been done, we can assist in the "go live" phase.

This phase is extremely important as most systems are quite complex and users usually require a short period of time where individual aspects of a business can be addressed, and procedures established to ensure speedy data entry that is sensible and reports then easily extracted.


Training is probably the most important part of running the system.  Without adequate training, users will not be able to extract the most benefits from the systems/modules.

We can provide initial training during the "go live" stage. We can then provide specialised training dependent upon the client's/staff needs (this is important as not all staff require the same level of training). 

At a later date we can provide revision training to staff whose roles may have changed, been promoted or where new modules have been acquired.

ongoing support

We can provide ongoing support to the business.

That support could be in the form of providing hands on Accounting Assistance, Management Reporting, Job Management, Accruals and WIP's Management and overall checking of the physical well being of the system.

Assistance with preparation and lodgement of BAS reports.

The support can either be done remotely or in person, depending on client's requirement.
